Lyra & Louie – Two Survivors, One Beautiful Bond

Lyra and Louie’s story began in the middle of a rain-soaked street.

Left in a plastic box during some of the heaviest rain the city had seen, these tiny kittens were found drenched, frightened, and pressed tightly against one another - their only comfort in a world that had already let them down.

Now 3 months old, their lives couldn’t look more different. They are happy, playful, and full of kitten joy - chasing toys, exploring their surroundings, and curling up together for cosy naps. They are thriving in their foster home, growing in confidence every day, and embracing everything life has to offer. They are vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, and will be neutered when they reach the appropriate age and weight.

Louie is all heart - affectionate, adventurous, endlessly curious, and armed with the loudest, happiest purr you’ve ever heard. Lyra is gentler, thoughtful, and quietly clever. She watches the world carefully, learns quickly, and then follows her brother’s lead with soft bravery. He’s the brawn. She’s the brains. And together, they are perfectly balanced.

Their bond is unbreakable. They look to each other for reassurance, comfort, and confidence in everything they do. Because of that, we are looking for a home that will welcome them both. A home that will protect them, nurture their happiness, and keep them safe for the rest of their lives.
