Pumpkin’s story is one of heartbreak and hope.

This handsome boy was left behind when his owners moved away - abandoned in the garden to fend for himself. When a kind neighbour raised the alarm, the vet clinic reached out to us, and we knew we had to help.​

At first, Pumpkin was withdrawn and exhausted, sleeping for days as he finally felt safe enough to rest. But with good food, care, and love, his true personality began to shine through. He’s now a happy, playful, affectionate cat who adores company and has a gentle, loving nature.

Pumpkin loves wand toys, chasing jingly balls, and lounging in sunny spots or curled up in a cosy cubby. He thrives on human affection and will make a wonderful companion for a family who can give him the love he’s always deserved.

He’d do best as the only cat in the home, where he can enjoy all the attention for himself as he can be defensive with other cats. He may also adapt to calm, respectful dogs and pet-aware children.
