Zazu and Teo - from survival to soulmates​

Zazu and Teo’s story is one of survival, healing, and a bond that was simply meant to be. Zazu was found at just five months old, suffering from a severe mouth infection and clear signs of neglect. A few months later, tiny Teo appeared outside a rescuer’s home at just 6–7 weeks old - alone, injured, and in need of help, with a painful burned paw. Both boys were anaemic, fragile, and in need of care… but in finding safety, they also found each other.

From the very beginning, Zazu chose Teo. What started as two vulnerable rescues quickly became an unbreakable bond. Zazu took on the role of protector and guide - grooming Teo, playing with him, and offering constant reassurance. Teo, in turn, found comfort and confidence in Zazu, looking to him for safety and support. Their connection is truly special and deeply rooted, and they rely on each other in a way that only bonded pairs do.

Both boys are gentle, shy souls who need time to feel safe. Zazu is the braver of the two - quirky, chatty, and food-motivated, with a hidden affectionate side that comes out once trust is built. Teo is quieter and more sensitive, deeply attached to Zazu and gaining confidence through him every day. They are not “instant” cats, but with patience, kindness, and a calm environment, they will blossom into incredibly rewarding companions.

Zazu and Teo are looking for a patient, understanding home that will give them the time and space they need, together. A quieter environment and an adopter willing to go at their pace will make all the difference.
