Bodhi
Bodhi. Wobbly Legs, Steady Heart
Bodhi’s journey to safety took a few chance encounters before someone finally realised he needed more than just surviving.
He was first spotted outside a veterinary clinic - friendly, affectionate, and eager for human attention, but clearly unwell with flu symptoms and a noticeable wobbly gait. When he was seen again later, his condition had worsened. It was then discovered that Bodhi had actually been abandoned at the clinic weeks earlier after being treated for an injury, neutered, and released back outside to fend for himself.
By the third time he was seen, it was clear Bodhi needed rescuing. His flu was worsening, and his unsteady gait left him especially vulnerable to cars, injury, and other cats.
Since coming indoors, Bodhi has made a wonderful recovery. His flu has been treated, and he has blossomed into a happy, affectionate boy who adores cuddles, kisses, and being close to his foster mum. He also shares a lovely bond with his best friend and fellow ECM rescue, Tufani, spending his days playing and enjoying the safety and comfort he was always meant to have.
Bodhi may walk through life a little differently, but it doesn’t slow him down - and it certainly doesn’t stop him from loving with his whole heart.
