Jerry

Meet Jerry - a sweet little kitten with tonnes of personality!

Little Jerry has grown up in our care after we found him curled up on the steps outside a supermarket. He was scrawny and malnourished and seeking shelter and protection with an older street cat (who we'd named Tom and has since been adopted) but was nothing but skin and bones.

This little kitten has been overlooked for many months and is now grown into a sweet and cheeky young man - full of energy, curiosity, and playful spirit. Always ready for a game or a chase, he lights up every room he enters. Once he’s burned off his zoomies, Jerry is just as happy curling up beside you for a cuddle. This little boy is a genuine bundle of joy and smiles.

Jerry has been indoors only since his rescue as a small kitten, and needs a safe indoor-only environment where he can spend his days playing, grooming, eating and sleeping. His ideal home would be into an environment with another cat as he is very social with other felines. Failing that, he could go to a home as the only cat as long as he wasn't on his own for terribly long periods of time throughout the day/week. Jerry hasn't been tested with young children but he has never shown any aggression and we have no reason to think he wouldn't be ok. But, Jerry loves to 'bunny kick' and could be classed as 'over-enthusiastic' at playtime- so he will need his claws regularly trimmed and someone who is well versed in cat behaviour. Jerry would love a cat-tree as part of his home where he can climb and survey his territory, and he adores feathery wand-toys. He is naturally curious so stimulating treat time with 'treasure hunts' or interactive treat dispensers is a great way for Jerry to merge play time with snack time!
