Rhaegal & Viserion — The Gentle Dragon Brothers Seeking a Safe, Patient Home Together

Named after two of Daenerys Stormborn’s dragons, Rhaegal and Viserion may not breathe fire, but they share the same bravery, loyalty, and unbreakable bond. Born to their rescued mother Dreamfyre (also available for adoption), the pair have only ever known indoor life - but their personalities took very different paths.

Rhaegal - the quiet, tender-hearted shadow

Rhaegal is a semi-feral soul who feels safest when the world is quiet and predictable. New people overwhelm him, and he will hide until the environment feels safe again. Even when his heart is pounding with fear, his eyes stay wide with curiosity - he wants to trust, but he doesn't quite know how yet.

Though people remain frightening for him, Rhaegal blossoms around cats. He gently approaches new feline friends, watches them closely, and will play beautifully once he feels secure. Most of all, he draws comfort from his brother Viserion, who helps him feel brave.

In the right home - one that is calm, patient, and deeply understanding - Rhaegal will take small, meaningful steps forward. He may never be cuddly with humans, but he will be a loving companion to his brother and a peaceful presence in a home that appreciates him for who he is.

Viserion - the energetic, curious free spirit

Viserion is the more confident of the two, playful and full of personality. He’s always up for exploring, teasing other cats, or initiating friendly interactions with newcomers - waiting patiently until they trust him enough to rub against him. His enthusiasm is infectious, and he brings joyful energy into any room.

With people, Viserion still needs time. He’ll tolerate touch, especially if treats or toys are involved, but he’s not a fan of being approached too quickly. If overwhelmed, he’ll choose to hide for a while. Recently he’s been a bit more reserved, likely due to the busy foster environment, but his gentle nature still shines through.

These two boys complement each other beautifully: Rhaegal finds courage in Viserion’s presence, and Viserion finds comfort in his brother’s quiet companionship. They are a bonded pair and must be adopted together into a patient, cat-savvy home that understands semi-feral behaviour and is willing to give them all the time they need.
