Teo - a shy boy looking for a calm home​

Teo is one of those quiet, sensitive souls who hasn’t had the easiest start in life. Rescued as a very young kitten with a painful paw injury and anaemia, his early weeks were spent in treatment and recovery rather than the safety and carefree play of a normal kitten-hood.

Because of this, Teo is still a shy and cautious boy who can find the world - and especially human interaction - a little overwhelming at first. He isn’t the type to rush forward for attention, and will often prefer to observe quietly from a safe space until he feels secure and unthreatened.

However, Teo truly shines in the company of other cats. With feline companions around him, he becomes more relaxed, playful, and curious. He gains confidence through them, and would benefit greatly from a calm, friendly resident cat who can help guide him and show him that the world is safe.

Teo will need a patient, understanding home that respects his pace and allows him the time he needs to build trust. He won’t blossom overnight, but with consistency, kindness, and gentle encouragement, he has the potential to slowly grow in confidence and come out of his shell.

He may not be the easiest cat to adopt, but for someone who understands shy, delicate personalities, Teo offers something deeply special - the quiet privilege of watching a fearful little soul learn to feel safe, and eventually, to trust.
